Dangerous food
Take-away food and hot chips are not healthy. In take -away food there is a lot of monosodium glutamate (MSG). MSG may damage our eyers. Becouse take-away food is qvick and easy to take, people prefer this instead of normal nutrition which includes fresh vegetables and frut.In hot chips scientists have discovered an acrylamide. Acrylamide is a chemical which causes cancer. It is most daungerous when children eat chips and take-away food.
I think the gavement must restrict the sale of hot chips and take-away food. The gavement should use the media to advertise why it is good for people to eat healthy food.

Carpe diem.
Carpe diem - it's meaning is "don't lose your precious time, use every minute of your life. Do something now because after that you will feel sorry fo losing time.To rush to live! "
I didn't know Steve Irwin before I came to Australia. He was very popular and famous in Australia and America.I think Steve had rushed to live.He had a lot of energy for work.Millions of people will remember him as being cheerful and purposeful.

Thin models.
1What triggered the ban? the death of a young model during a show in South America
2What's BMI?
It is heigh to weigh rotatio
3What BMI should a model have to be allowed to participate in fashion parades in
Spain?
18,5-24,5
4What's the average height, weight and BMI of a runway model?
175sm,55kg,BMI-16
5What are the arguments for and against?
Arguments for: teenage girls want to look like models but it's very dangerous. Arguments against: everybody is an individual. Maybe thin people will feel persecuted.
6Check the meanings of gaunt, emaciated and wan. You can find many dictionalries on the internet (just wirte dictionary into Google). One of them is the Merrian-Webster

Gaunt-excessively thin

Emaciated-very thin

Wan-suggestive of poor health

How can you calculate someone's BMI? Dividing a person's weigh in kg by their height in metres squared.

I think it is a very good idea to introduce the ban on models who are too skinny. This ban must be as early as possible before a girl dies.In my opinion models do not look aestetic, as they are too skinny(like after a concentration camp). Is it beauty really? Being too thin is not good for models' health. It is very dangerous to show these models on TV because young women think models are successful and rich. I think there now has to be special programs on TV to show the traversties of models in order to protect teenage girls from this image.
